Getting To Know Our Team

With five chiropractors at our practice, there's something for everyone! We have doctors with extra training in pregnancy, paediatrics, and sports injuries. Whatever your age or the severity of your condition, we have a doctor who's just the right fit for your needs!

Dr Jon Powderly has a life-long interest in health. He completed his chiropractic degree from RMIT Melbourne in 1994 with the "clinical excellence" award. Dr Jon gained international experience in over 20 clinics across five countries, helping thousands improve their health and mobility since 1995. One of his passions is teaching - Dr Jon regularly presents to workplace and community groups in Canberra on the topic of health, spine and nervous system.

Dr Andrew Norwood graduated from Macquarie University in 1994 with a master's degree in chiropractic. He ran his own successful chiropractic practice in Canberra for 21 years before joining the team at Canberra Spine Centre. Dr Andrew enjoys providing care to a wide range of patients from infants to the elderly. He also holds a qualification in animal chiropractic, seeing plenty of four-legged patients in our clinic!

Dr Chelsea Dickins, an RMIT alumna, began her chiropractic care travelling around the country, allowing other chiropractors to take time off while she took care of their patients. Dr Chelsea joined Canberra Spine Centre in 2018, and she enjoys caring for a wide variety of patients, with a special focus and qualifications in paediatrics and pregnancy care.

Dr Isaac Edgar attended RMIT for five years, earning a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic). He is also a qualified sports trainer with a strong interest in sports injury rehabilitation. With his keen interest in sports and wellbeing, Dr Isaac is a key practitioner for sports-related issues at Canberra Spine Centre.

Dr Michael Hobden's passion for chiropractic care ignited in his teens after personally experiencing its benefits. He graduated with a Masters in Chiropractic from Macquarie University in 2019 and has since honed his skills in Sydney clinics. Dr Hobden believes in a holistic approach, empowering patients with knowledge and techniques for long-term well-being. He is dedicated to ongoing learning and providing the latest advancements in chiropractic care.
