Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

In a word: no. A typical office visit may require just five to 10 minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly assess the requirements of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

We recognise that your time is valuable. We do everything possible to run on time and minimise the impact on your busy life.  Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you will often lose the momentum necessary to make the changes you're looking for.

Exercise is also an important part of your care.  As part of the thorough approach taken at every stage of your care, Dr Powderly will advise you on the right exercises to assist you back to good health.

Dr Jon Asks some important questions of interest to Canberra residents - Chiropractor Canberra Dr Jon Asks...

What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
Is average normal or is normal average?
Every chiropractor knows that so-called "normal" is merely an average. What's normal for you may not be normal for anyone else. So the chiropractic approach to better health is to tailor our approach to the unique needs of each of our Canberra patients.
